BIOGRAPHY<\/h1><\/div>

<\/p>\n

Kassiano is a bilingual, award winning, Jamaican-born singer, songwriter, fine\u00a0 artist, actor, entrepreneur, holistic teacher and motivational life\u00a0 coach.<\/p>\n

Born Roger Kassiano Smith in Hanover, Jamaica, in a family of five, Kassiano began singing and performing at the age of six. His father, an architect, and mother a school principal, instilled focused work and \u00a0determination as\u00a0 key \u00a0to achieve preset goals. At the age of nine, he won his first gold medal in the national performing arts festival.\u00a0 This was the genesis of his prolific career.<\/p>\n

Kassiano studied painting, Jazz piano and vocals during his time at Cornwall College and\u00a0 then \u00a0went on to \u00a0study Management at the University of the West Indies where he graduated with an honors\u00a0 degree. He continued to make waves while at the University on the entertainment scene and opened for artists like Grammy winning reggae artists Shabba Ranks and\u00a0 Gregory\u00a0 Isaacs. He was also featured in \u201cGoing to Extremes\u201d with Christopher Walken and \u201cSCAM\u201d with Maxi Priest.<\/p>\n

His performances, which punctuate with spontaneity and a stage presence that command the full attention of his audiences won him the \u201cJFM Best New Artist Award\u201d in 1990.<\/p>\n

In 1992 Kassiano moved to Mexico, learned Spanish, and landed a successful four-year, three album deal with Emi \u2013 Music Records. His 1996 album KuKaramakara which included ten original songs and four covers, was produced by Midi Ortega (Grupo Moe\u00f1a).<\/p>\n

He then became\u00a0 a household\u00a0 name in \u00a0Latin America after releasing “Ay Cosita Linda”, the hit single from his debut album that featured what would become his signature sound; a unique blend of Mexican music with original Jamaican\/Caribbean flavors<\/p>\n

He has performed alongside Paul Anka ,Julio Iglesias, Juan Gabriel, Los Pericos from Argentina and recently\u00a0 Rick\u00a0 Ross, Beenie man , Lee \u201cScratch\u201d\u00a0 Perry and Kymani Marley at \u00a0the High Vibes \u00a0Reggae\u00a0 Festival.<\/p>\n

In 2013 Kassiano recorded his hit single \u201cBote\u00a0 de\u00a0 bananas\u201d\u00a0 under\u00a0 the\u00a0 watchful eye\u00a0 of\u00a0 Charlie\u00a0 Santana\u00a0 (Banda\u00a0 Recodo) and returned to\u00a0 Jamaica to\u00a0 produce\u00a0 his\u00a0 English album\u00a0 \u201cJourneys\u201d , with Dean Frazer. This\u00a0 album features the original song written by\u00a0 kassiano that\u00a0 speaks\u00a0 about\u00a0 his \u201c journey\u201d\u00a0 in Mexico.<\/p>\n

Two years years\u00a0 later, in 2015 he did \u00a0a\u00a0 remake\u00a0 of\u00a0 the classic \u201cBesame Mucho\u201d\u00a0 in reggae\u00a0 and\u00a0 \u201cRoom in My\u00a0 Father\u00b4s house\u201d , an original by renowned writer\u00a0 and\u00a0 producer\u00a0 Mikie\u00a0 Bennett,\u00a0 that\u00a0 speaks\u00a0 of\u00a0 religious\u00a0 and\u00a0 spiritual\u00a0 inclusion,\u00a0 independent\u00a0 of\u00a0 class , color\u00a0 or race.<\/p>\n

With\u00a0\u00a0 an ever\u00a0 growing\u00a0 concern for\u00a0 the energy\u00a0 imbalance\u00a0 on the\u00a0 planet and\u00a0 particularly in Jamaica \u00a0, Kassiano\u00a0 transmits\u00a0 a\u00a0 message\u00a0 of\u00a0 peace\u00a0 and\u00a0 well being\u00a0 through his\u00a0 music and\u00a0 the creation of\u00a0 abundance\u00a0 on all\u00a0 levels\u00a0 of\u00a0 consciousness.<\/p>\n

He is the owner and creator of Real de Talpa, a 160 acre holistic resort being built, close to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and has recently been featured on programs such as Telemundo’s, “Sabado Gigante” with Don Francisco, “Un Nuevo Dia”, \u201cDesayuno Alegre\u201d and CNN latino. He is considered to be one of the most radical holistic teachers who help people remove negative programming and make profound changes by showing them how to unlock the code within the code and create abundance at\u00a0 all\u00a0 levels.<\/p>\n

He has collaborated with people like Jerry Bedlington, Michael Beckwith’s former assistant and founder of Inner Wizdom, Susan Lowe, and thousands\u00a0 of others who have been to his courses or have had private sessions through his\u00a0 \u201clight\u00a0 by kassiano\u201d abundance\u00a0 teachings\u00a0 . He \u00a0has sinced \u00a0launched the \u00a0\u00a0\u201clight\u00a0 by kassiano\u201d program\u00a0 to help inner city\u00a0 kids\u00a0 in the\u00a0 ghetto in Sea View\u00a0 Gardens,\u00a0 Jamaica.<\/p>\n
